IT's a GIRL! Yeh!

So we are having a girl! I wish everyone could have seen Jason's face when the tech told us...it was priceless. He was more excited than me...I really didn't care if we had a boy because of all the handmedowns that would be available to us...but we are very excited to prospects of a girl in both sides of our family. My MIL said this will probably be our last grandbaby, so I am VERY excited. She said she saw a cute little girl out somewhere and it hit her that she would have a granddaughter! my FIL is just as excited...he said I better save room for him in my house when she comes, because he hasn't had a girl for 25 yrs!

I still don't know how to use the scanner, so I can't put up the ultrasound pics....you can't tell anyway.

January Blahs...

So yesterday I got out of bed, took a bath and got dressed. Jason looked at me and happily said, "where are we going?" It didn't last long. We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch...after that, I did not feel well at all...so back home and to bed I went. We saw my OB/GYN there, eating lunch with his son. I wanted to snatch him up from his son time and say, make me feel better...and what else can I do for constipation???? Jason made me refrain myself, since my appt is only 4 days away...perhaps we can address those issues in his office and not at a local restaurant!

I am exited and nervous about finding out the sex...I really don't care if it's a boy or a girl anymore...I am in that stage where I am frightened the baby will not have 2 legs, or will be missing fingers...I have dreams at night that she comes out with her eyes closed and we can't get them open. I guess I need to beg for the 4D ultrasound so I can sleep and quit worrying!

Michael had his first basketball game Saturday! He played pretty much the whole game; except when he got hit in the face with the ball and he cried and walked off the court! I wanted to get up and go over there, but Jason wouldn't let me. He was fine and back in the game...he was paired up with all the bigger kids and stole the ball 2 times!!!! He did REALLY well...it was so much fun to watch! I tried to take pictures with my camera, but it won't take action shots.

My car is acting up. We have no idea where to take it...I have a bad feeling it's going to be big issues, but that car has to last at least another 18 mths! Jason is coming home to assess the situation...

First week of January

Ok, my sister Carrie has begged me to start this since our move to Georgia. I love her blog and enjoy reading what she is really thinking. Then Emy started one so I guess I have to!! I have no idea how to make it cute or upload pictures yet, but I will figure it out!

I am freezing! I hate cold weather and thought when I moved back to Alabama, winter would not be in my future anymore! I refuse to turn the heat on upstairs....I am 19 weeks pregnant and for some reason the heat gives me a horrible stuffy bloody nose in the mornings. Among all the other uncomfortable things with pregnancy, this is one of my pet peeves!

My father (Jim) called the other day to see how our holiday was and how I was feeling. When I explained to him that I was in bed the first 3 mths of the pregnancy, he actually said, "what did you think would happen, you are 36 years old!" I laughed and then later thought, crap, he is right...no wonder!
